POLYPENCO PBI

POLYPENCO PBI is compressed material of polybenzimidazole(PBI). It has the highest heat durability and mechanical strength among existing plastics.

>Grade
PBI®: Standard grade. It is clean and high-functional super engineering plastic of containing less ionic impurity.(Black)
PBI®-NC: Low price grade suitable for the purpose where purity is not required.(Black)
Notice
·  For mechanical processing, multi-crystal diamond tool is recommended for getting high quality product, as the material is very hard.
·  Polybenzimidazole(PBI)should be dried before using in high temperature than 210°C as it is water absorbency. If not, it might be damaged by heat.
·  At designing a corner or edge, it would be better to round them as it is a high notch sensitive material.
·  In order to obtain dimensional precision at high temperature, it is recommended to practice annealing treatment at 250~300°C.
